Over the course of the last 6 months, the Sui blockchain has continued to exceed expectations. With increasing transaction volume, cheaper fees, and deeper liquidity, Sui is positioning itself to become a hub for Sui participants wanting exposure to DeFi. Between the launch of Deepbook V3, and the introduction of data storage protocol Walrus, the Sui DeFi ecosystem movement has only just begun. When observing DEX activity and TVL, we can see the trends are correlated. Both TVL and DEX volume have dramatically increased since the start of the year, indicating strong interest towards trading, supplying and lending the native $SUI token.
